The December 4th Alliance meeting will feature a presentation by John Keaton, Executive Director of the Lorain County Habitat for Humanity. John has worked with Habitat since 2001 and administers 39 Partner Family Homes, all related files, supervises staff and all the operations concerning the Lorain County Habitat for Humanity affiliate. Mr. Keaton will be discussing the growing market for low-cost, recycled construction materials and how Habitat for Humanity in Elyria is initiating a Habitat ReStore in Lorain County that will significantly expand their ability to raise funds, raise awareness and help the earth while helping each other.
*In addition to a presentation by Mr. Keaton, this is the End of the Year Wrap up Meeting for the Alliance. A round table discussion with members will allow for a brief comment by your governmental entity regarding problems/solutions/concerns faced in 2009 and any items that may be addressed in 2010.
