Clean Ohio Green Space Grant Money

The District 9 Natural Resources Assistance Council (NRAC) of Huron, Lorain and Medina Counties announces the opening of Round 6 applications for the 2009 allocation of the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund Green Space Program. The NRAC is responsible for the local review of applications and preliminary approval for distribution of funds allocated to District 9 by the State of Ohio to this program. The 2009 allocation for District 9 is a combination of $1,528,231, released by the State legislature for Round 6 and a District 9 account balance of $139,896 from previous projects which came in under budget. The Round 6 total will be $1,668,127.
Applications (plus 13 copies on forms prescribed by District 9 and approved by the Ohio Public Works Commission) will be accepted until Wednesday, January 13, 2010, @ 4 pm in the Office of Lorain County Commissioner Betty Blair, 226 Middle Ave., Fourth Floor, Elyria, OH 44035
