Habitat for Humanity ReStore Opening Soon

At the December 4th Alliance meeting the presenter was John Keaton, Executive Director for the Habitat for Humanity located in Elyria. John announced that this Habitat affiliate will be opening a ReStore in Lorain County. A ReStore will significantly expand Habitat's ability to raise funds, raise awareness and help the earth while helping each other. Building items are currently being accepted and stored temporarily in a warehouse, however; Keaton is actively pursuing a permanent location. Sites in the Elyria area are being reviewed, primarily due to the city's centralized location within the county. In addition to a home for the ReStore, Keaton has a "Wish List" of items needed to get the store up and running.This list was handed out at the Alliance meeting and is available upon request.
