The Department of Commerce, Division of State Fire Marshal, has a 0 percent Revolving Loan Fund available to assist political subdivisions with the removal, assessment and corrective action of Underground Storage Tanks (UST).

Openings on the Lorain County Planning Commission

Virginia Haynes, Administrative Coordinator

The Lorain County Commissioners are currently seeking interested individuals to serve on the Lorain County Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing new subdivisions, making zoning amendment recommendations and granting variances from the County Subdivision Regulation in the unincorporated townships. The Planning Commission meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 2 PM in the County Administration Building. Meetings are usually an hour or less. If you would like to serve on the Planning Commission, please contact Theresa Upton, Clerk for the Board of Commissioners at 329-5103.

Red Treehouse, a statewide program of Ohio Family and Children First and the Ronald McDonald House® of Cleveland, Inc., is committed to building an online community of resources for families and professionals to help children and young adults (prenatal through age 25) meet daily needs, overcome challenges, and develop their fullest potential. Therefore, the program encourages all local, regional, state and national disability organizations, public agencies, schools and universities, health care organizations, support groups, private providers, associations and philanthropic organizations to join.
