DOT TIGER 2014 FUNDING OPPORTUNITY - TIME SENSITIVE
The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014 (Pub. L. 113-76, January 17, 2014) appropriated $600 million to be awarded by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for National Infrastructure Investments. As with previous rounds of TIGER, funds for the FY 2014 TIGER program are to be awarded on a competitive basis for projects that will have a significant impact on the Nation, a metropolitan area, or a region. In addition to supporting capital grants, DOT has the flexibility to use up to $35 million of TIGER funds for planning grants. The TIGER 2014 funding opportunity opened yesterday on grants.gov. The application closes on April 28th but interested parties are encouraged to apply by April 25th as there will be scheduled downtime over the weekend of April 26-27. Please be aware you must complete the registration process before submitting an application, and that this process can take 2-4 weeks to complete. Please see Grants.Gov parameters below.
